Still Life Painting with Christopher Broadhurst
'Through a Glass Darkly' – Still Life Painting and Reflections
As children we see with unfiltered consciousness. With age we learn to edit our material world and simplify what we see. We stare into glass screens ignoring their reflective materiality and focus straight through to the images displayed.
This three day workshop will immerse you in a still life where all is new and multifaceted, replete with distractions. You will be encouraged to interpret physical properties of objects, to paint what you see while stretching and expanding your painting style.
